I Love Paris in the Springtime. Part 2.

Notre Dame.

Paris flea market. So amazing. I picked up a few goodies. I'll post those later.

Swoon.

This dog was so cute. It's true that they allow dogs in restaurants...how much more fun would that make life?

Red lipstick. I'm still pretty shy about it. I feel so conspicuous. I don't know when my  red lips will make their Utah debut. We'll see.

Biggest disappointment had to be Moulin Rouge. In my opinion it's one of the most romantic movies of all time.  It was surrounded by sex shops and topless bars. I cried a little inside.

WOOT WOOT!

Me and my mom in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle. She was freezing. I think I would have been if I hadn't been so excited!

I Love Paris in the Springtime!

The view from our hotel room. Isn't it so Parisian?

Up close, real life. The Eiffel Tower.

Mom and Dad.

Me and my mommy!

Nutella Crepe! I ate this on a sidewalk cafe in Paris. It doesn't get much better than that!

Laduree.
They have the best Macaroons in Paris.

I was pretty excited. I've read so much about it.

Aren't they pretty?

Sidewalk Cafe by Notre Dame. Isn't that Wisteria gorgeous!?

Spring Has Sprung and Happy Easter : )

In my opinion today was the most beautiful day of the year. Seeing Spring pop up everywhere gives me a sense of peace and renewal every year. I don't think that will ever change. I had such a fun day relaxing with my family, minus poor Jonny who had to work.
My Grandma's Sugar Eggs. I'm doing these next years. So cute.
Me and My Grandma! We started the day off with a beautiful walk. OH my poor tortured eyebrows. They will grow back, they will grow back, they will grow back. That's what I keep telling myself!

Tanner and my Gpa on our walk. Isn't that birdhouse divine?!

Love my grandparents.

My Grandma's Hopping Bunny Rolls.

Spring is in the air.....

The best part of our walk was walking the temple grounds. Stunning. Strange side note, there was a couple making out in the parking lot.....I guess the temple may have that effect on some people.

An all people post.

In keeping with my promise to myself, I have a blog post dedicated entirely to pictures of people. I still don't have anything interesting to actually blog about but we can work with baby steps. Right?
This is me. That's a necklace on my head. #HIGH FASHION# That's a joke you'll only get if you watch Tosh.O.

Photo Dump

Gnomes at Tai Pan.
Good God my blog is dull! But what can I do? It's not like I have an adorable baby to blog about like some of my friends. Things are frankly pretty boring around these parts. We do home improvement projects, but I don't want to blog about those until we're done. Done done. So that's out. We go out to eat, you can only take so many pictures of food....trust me on that one. We play with Cody, everyone loves a cute dog...to a point. I clean A LOT, talk about snoozeville. What can I blog about? This is why you see a lot of pictures of  fresh flowers in vases on my blog. Fun right? About as much fun as watching paint dry, there's gotta be something more. I vow to be more creative. I like blogs with pictures of people, so I'm going to try and put more pictures of people up. No more fresh flowers. That is a promise. That is, after this entry.

Cute Benny. See the little dewy tear on her cheek? This is right after she got her ears pierced. She's such a doll!

Fresh Flowers.
"I kiwed it." Translation, I killed it.
Sunday Din din.

Grandma by her cake!

These were taken with my Hipstamatic App. Fancy.

Advice To All You Ladies and Other Stuff.

I originally took this picture to rant about how much my shirt faded. Yes, you could say it's been a slow month.
It's important to keep marriage sexy. As you can see from the above picture I'm doing my part. Between this and Cody pooping in our room as we sleep lately, we are the envy of many a couple. Sorry you can't be us.
In other less gross news, one of my favorite things happened last week. I opened the door to let Cody out and a warm gush of air was there to greet me. It's one of my favorite days of the year. You wait for that bitter edge to hit you but you're pleasantly surprised and it means SPRING IS HERE!

Other happy news. Baby books, which I can't seem to get enough of...see my highlighters, and prenatal vitamins. Yes, it's getting to be that time when we're starting to think about, starting to think about those things. I'm trying to eat healthier, drink more water, avoid sugar, uh besides those Girl Scout Cookies, and have cut WAY back on diet coke...which has been hard but easy at the same time, does that make sense?! Babies are my new favorite thing. I'm always talking about babies. Thinking about babies. Reading about babies. We're still not quite ready at this point but we will be soon. I haven't felt this passionate about something in such a long time. I've had some feelings lately that I didn't expect. I'm not just excited when I think about becoming a mother, I'm determined. I'm determined to be deliberate about the choices I make. I'm determined to make our love nest a solace for our children. I'm determined to build a life of beauty for them. I'm determined to push my children to see their potential....but I'm getting ahead of myself. Simply put, motherhood is the most noble of pursuits and one I will feel honored to be a part of, if I get the chance. Can't wait : )
